“Steal Like an Artist” by Austin Kleon

You should go buy this book immediately. Or order it from Amazon, in paperback.

It’s a tiny book, both in size and content, and tiny in a best way. It’s a quick read, but at the same time, it is completely packed with simple insights that will help you get unstuck, become more creative, inspired, energized.

I was lucky to see. He’s a regular guy, and he tells his story in such a simple but fun and engaging way, as if you’re just grabbing beers. It was one of my favorite talks in a long while.

Quick quote from the first chapter, to get you inspired (and I hope Austin don’t mind :)

You have to be curious about the world in which you live. Look things up. Chase down every reference. Go deeper than anybody else – that’s how you’ll get ahead.
