The one I like? EditPlus! (yeah yeah, I’m on Win, so what? :) It’s lightweight, loads in seconds, yet has all the features I need. I would suggest improving the regular expression support for search & replace, other than that I’m pretty happy.
I'm a mac guy, and everyone loves TextMate. It has some really cool extensibility for different languages and stuff, but I really like BBEdit. I'm just so used to how to do things with it. I'll probably never switch just out of comfort :P
